Europe Inspirational Destinations

Europe is a fantastic destination and has endless diversity. You can soak up a wealth of culture in a short space of time. If you consider the fact that most of Europe would fit inside Australia or the USA, you can see that the diversity of countries within this area is unique.

Europe has become easier to get too with the opening of the channel tunnel and the introduction of no frills cheap airlines such as Easy Jet and Go airlines. There is so much to do and see in Europe that I am going to give you a sprinkle of inspiration to get you on your way-

Austria – Skiing and Boarding

Austria is one of the most popular destinations for British skiers and boarders. Austria caters for both beginners and advanced thrill seekers alike. The Austrians invented ski school and you will find a good range of instructors that speak most languages.

If you fancy a bit of 5 star treatment Austria is an excellent choice. Austrian resorts offer some of the best conditions in Europe. Many of the resorts boast piste in excess of 200km. The resort of Mayrhofen and Finkenberg offers over 400km of Piste and has some fantastic hotels.

For around £500 per week you could expect a luxury hotel with some amazing après ski. After a hard day on the slopes you can retire to your spacious en-suite room before relaxing in the indoor heated pool and sipping a glass of wine in the sauna, Jacuzzi and steam bath. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned skier you will find the luxury of Austrian hospitality an unforgettable experience.

Paris – Weekend Breaks

Paris is considered one of the most romantic cities in the world. Paris is practically on our doorstep and it makes it a great location for a weekend away with your loved one. Paris offers a great range of restaurants with prices to suit all budgets. Accommodation starts from £25 per night and there are plenty to chose from.

You should expect to pay around £80 per night for a hotel that overlooks the Champs Eysées, hotels in the Moulin Rouge area start from around £30 and hotels in the Notre Dame area can be found for around £40.
Getting to Paris could not be easier. You can take advantage of cheap European flights, drive yourself there via the channel tunnel or ferry and even go on an organised trip. However you decide to get there, it wont be long before you are sitting in a French style café or wondering the romantic streets.

Majorca – Package holiday

Majorca is a very popular holiday destination and it has something for everyone. Despite its popularity Majorca hasn’t really suffered over exposure. The island has some pretty clear-cut areas to cater for different tastes.
The south west of the island is geared more towards the younger market with its lively nightlife. The resorts of Magaluf and Palmer Nova have expanded in to each other and both boast fantastic beaches. This area is very lively and could be classed as rather noisy. It is ideally suited for the younger holiday makers who want a crazy nightlife but also want to chill out on some fantastic beaches.

The north east of the island offers a more family orientated environment. Alcudia and Formentor are in this area and they offer a great variety of culture and history.
So whether you want an action packed full on week away or you want to relax in the sun, Majorca has it all to offer. This sun drenched Spanish island is a great destination for both families and youngsters alike!

Germany – Beer Festival

A German beer festival is a unique experience. They have an atmosphere that you will not find anywhere else. Probably the biggest German Beer festival is held in Munich once a year. This Munich festival is called Oktoberfest. This year the festival will be held between 21st September and 6th October. Six million people are expected to visit the festival. The festival consists of 644 stalls and takes up around 80 acres.
